How we handle your data

CeraScope is an AI-assisted valuation companion for Chinese porcelain and Asian ceramics operated by XWING. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this policy short and readable; if anything is unclear, email us at admin@x-wing.one.

Data we collect

• Apple ID identifier when you sign in to the iOS app. If you choose to share your email during Apple Sign-In, we store it so we can contact you about your account. You can decline this and we store an opaque Apple identifier only.
• Valuation queries you submit: the lot title, description, optional dynasty / category / size, and an optional photograph. Photos are processed server-side by our valuation engine and by Anthropic Claude for structured extraction. We use this content to produce your estimate, show comparable lots and improve service reliability. We do not sell valuation content or use it for advertising.
• Purchase records: when you buy credits through the iOS App, Apple validates the receipt and RevenueCat posts the transaction identifier to us so we can credit your account. We never see your card details.
• Server logs: each request records an IP address and a coarse timestamp for security and rate-limit purposes. Logs are retained for 30 days.
• Performance telemetry from the iOS App: anonymous event names and durations (e.g. "estimate completed in 3.2s") with no user identifier attached. Used only to diagnose slow flows.

Data we do not collect

• Location data of any kind.
• Device advertising identifiers (IDFA).
• Third-party marketing trackers.
• Contacts, photos library scans, or any data outside what you actively upload for a valuation.

How to delete your data

You can delete your account from the iOS app under Account - Delete account. You can also email admin@x-wing.one from the email you registered with, or quote your Apple-Sign-In identifier if you did not share an email. We will respond within 7 days and delete your account records unless we must keep limited records for legal, accounting or fraud-prevention reasons.

Third-party services

We use the following processors, each under their own privacy terms:

• Anthropic Claude — vision + language models.
• RevenueCat — purchase receipt validation.
• Apple App Store — payments + Sign in with Apple.
• Fly.io — application hosting.
